Chippar Guttu Tharavadu is a Bunts family house, which is
situated in a small Village called Chippar which comes under Paivalike
Panchayath of Manjeshwar Block in Kasaragod District of Kerala
State. Chippar village is around 600 KM from the State capital city of
Thiruvananthapuram. Chippar is surrounded by Kasaragod Block on South,
Mangalore / Bantval Block in the North and Puttur Block in the East. Mangalore,
Puttur, Bantwal, Kasaragod and Kanhangad are the nearby Cities. Chippar
is border to Kasaragod District and Dakshin Kannada District.
Our family is living at Chippar Guttu for more than
500years. Chippar Guthu family members worship Malarayi daiva Jumadhi daiva, kallurti-Panjurli
daiva, Korathi daiva, Rajaguliga daiva, Rahuguliga daiva, Bairava daiva and
Nagadeva. Lot of family issues are resolved by their pure prayer. Chippar Guthu
Tharavadu is situated near the Shree Vistnumurthy temple and Bayar
panchalingeswara temple is just 4Km away. Chippar Guthu taravadu is actively
involved in the nemotsava of both these Temples.
At shri vistnumurthy temple, jumadhi nemotsava is carried out in the month of April every year. Chippar Guthu members bring daiva bhandara from Ammeri daivasthana before the nemotsava begins. Chippar Guthu daiva nemotsava is carried out once in 3 years, after the vistnumurthy temple jumadi nemotsava. Chippar Guthu members bring daiva bhandara from shree panchalingeswara temple, bayar.
